19 year old Country/Rock artist McKenzi Whittington has been very busy with her music after winning Denver Idol in July of 2011. She has been writing and recording new songs everyday and just recently finished her very first demo cd! Kenzi describes her new demo as, “Sexy and Fun with Lots of Attitude!” She says she writes all of her songs mainly through experiences and hopes that everyone who listens can relate in some kind of way. Kenzi has also been working and rehearsing with her band getting ready for upcoming shows and events starting in January. Dates will be posted soon so you can come see Kenzi Whittington rock it out!

I’ve recently bought myself an acoustic guitar, and I must say I’m loving the country songs!! I really like the youtube song, and would love to know how to play the more technical version that you play in the video, but I can’t work it out from the video. Is there a specific tab or tutorial on the picking pattern or something anywhere?
